The men's giant slalom event in Lake Placid, New York, was halted after the first run due to adverse weather conditions. Race officials decided to cancel the remainder of the event for safety reasons as rain and fog made the course unsafe, leading to 44 racers not finishing (DNF) their runs.

Aaron Grzelak emerged as the top performer for his team, securing 18th place with a time of 1:15.23. His teammate Bradley Seaborg followed closely in 22nd place, clocking in at 1:15.88. Other team members included Andrew Truman, who finished in 38th place with a time of 1:19.64, Will Blackmer in 47th with a time of 1:22.58, and Reed Heathman who completed the race in 64th position with a time of 1:27.44.

The athletes were judged solely on their first run times due to the cancellation of the second run.

The women's team is set to compete next on Drapers Drop with their slalom event scheduled for tomorrow morning.
