Kamminga and Roodvoets Excavating (K&R) will be staging construction equipment near the Kingsbury Sanitary Pump Station over the next few days. This station is located east of the Kingsbury and Gage neighborhood and north of Center Drive.

Later this spring, K&R will be building a new pump station immediately adjacent to the existing pump house. They will also be constructing a new sanitary forcemain from the station east to Green Ridge Drive. The forcemain is used to push wastewater upstream where it can be discharged into a gravity sewer. In this case, the gravity sewer will be in Springbrook Drive with the connection being made near the Green Ridge and Springbrook intersection.

This project is being administered by The City of Grand Rapids as part of our regional utility partnership. Our Walker team will stay engaged and continue to provide updates as they become available.
