The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Amara Manoogian, Friends of Mari Manoogian, paid $28 to Vantiv on June 11.

According to quarterly campaign statements filed with Michigan’s Secretary of State, the following reason was given for the expenditure: 'credit card processing fee'.

The committee has spent about $22,004 total since the beginning of the year, 1.2 percent of which has gone to Vantiv.
