The Mega Millions jackpot has reached $575 million for the drawing scheduled tonight, with a cash option of $264.6 million. If someone wins, it will be the fifth time in 2025 that the jackpot has been claimed and would represent the largest Mega Millions prize awarded this year. The current run marks 30 consecutive drawings without a winner since June 27, when a ticket sold in Virginia secured a $348 million prize.
Michigan last saw a Mega Millions jackpot win in January 2021, when an Oakland County lottery club won $1.05 billion, setting a state record for the largest jackpot ever claimed.
Tickets for tonight’s drawing are available at lottery retailers across Michigan until 10:45 p.m., and can also be purchased online through MichiganLottery.com. Each play costs $5 and includes a multiplier feature that can increase non-jackpot prizes up to tenfold, with a maximum payout of $10 million. Mega Millions tickets are available in 45 states as well as Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
