Northern Michigan University will hold its first Blue Line Luncheon of the 2025-26 men’s hockey season on Friday, October 17. The event is scheduled to begin at noon at the Ramada of Marquette, located at 412 West Washington Street.
The luncheon will feature NMU Athletic Director Rick Comley, Head Coach Dave Shyiak, and selected players from the NMU men's hockey team as speakers. Doors will open at 11:45 a.m., with lunch served promptly at noon. The program is set to start at 12:15 p.m.
Tickets for the event are priced at $25 per person and include a meal catered by Slabtz Bar and Grill, which recently opened in Marquette. Due to limited space, organizers recommend purchasing tickets in advance either online at tickets.nmu.edu, in person at the NMU Ticket Office inside the Superior Dome, or by phone at 906-227-1032.
This luncheon is one of two planned for the current hockey season. The next Blue Line Luncheon will take place on January 9, 2026, also at the Ramada Inn of Marquette.
