More than $500 million is available in tonight’s Mega Millions drawing, with the jackpot set at $520 million and a cash option of $240.1 million.
If a winner emerges, it will be the fifth time this year that the Mega Millions jackpot has been claimed. It would also be the largest Mega Millions prize awarded in 2025 so far. The current jackpot has rolled over for 28 consecutive drawings since June 27, when a ticket sold in Virginia won $348 million.
The last time Michigan produced a Mega Millions jackpot winner was in January 2021, when an Oakland County lottery club claimed a $1.05 billion prize—the largest ever awarded in Michigan.
Tickets are being sold at lottery retailers statewide until 10:45 p.m. tonight and can also be purchased online through MichiganLottery.com. Each play costs $5 and includes a multiplier feature that can increase non-jackpot prizes up to ten times, with a maximum payout of $10 million for those secondary prizes.
Mega Millions tickets are available for purchase in 45 states as well as Washington D.C. and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
