Substructure repairs that were scheduled to start next week on the M-123 overpass at I-75 in Mackinac County have been postponed. The Michigan Department of Transportation cited staging and scheduling complications as the reason for the delay. The project, which was initially set to begin this year, is now expected to be completed in 2026.

According to officials, a new timeline for the work will be provided later. Until construction resumes next year, there will be no lane restrictions in place.
