An Otsego County resident has claimed a $564,219 prize after winning the Club Keno The Jack game from the Michigan Lottery. The 45-year-old winner, who chose to remain anonymous, purchased his ticket at Gaylord South EZ Mart in Gaylord and matched nine of the 20 numbers drawn in draw 2511072.

“I play Club Keno every now and then, but I only play The Jack when it gets over $100,000,” said the player. “I bought a ticket for 30 draws, and when I got home, I decided that if the draws were still going, I would go somewhere to have a drink and watch the rest.

“I got on the Lottery app to see what draw it was on and was bummed when I saw someone had won The Jack. I scanned my ticket to check it and was stunned when I found out I was the big winner! All I could think was: ‘What am I going to do with all this money?’ It was a good feeling!”

The winner visited Michigan Lottery headquarters to claim his prize and plans to invest his winnings.

The Jack is an add-on feature for Club Keno that allows players to pay an extra dollar per draw for a chance at larger prizes. Players receive nine easy pick numbers which must match those drawn in order to win. The jackpot begins at $10,000 and increases until someone wins by matching all nine numbers.

Club Keno is available at more than 10,500 retailers across Michigan. Drawings occur every three and a half minutes, with results posted online at MichiganLottery.com.

In 2024, Club Keno games awarded over $387 million in prizes statewide.
