US-41 road repairs between Marquette and Harvey set for early October

Contractors working for the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will begin repairs on US-41/M-28 from the Carp River in Marquette to Cherry Creek Road in Harvey, Marquette County, starting Monday, October 6.

The planned work includes crack sealing and filling holes along this stretch of roadway. The project is scheduled to be completed by Friday, October 10.

Drivers traveling on US-41/M-28 should anticipate intermittent lane closures and traffic shifts while repairs are underway.

According to MDOT, "This project will help ensure continued safe and reliable operation of the roadway."
