The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will begin pavement repairs on M-99 (W. Carleton Road) in Hillsdale County starting Friday, September 19. The work will take place between Lake Wilson Road and Moore Road and is expected to continue through Friday, September 26.

During the project, one lane of traffic will be closed along this section of M-99. Drivers are advised to anticipate delays as a result of the lane closure.

According to MDOT, "This project will increase safety for motorists and extend the lifespan of the roadway."

The repair effort aims to address road conditions and improve travel for those using this stretch near Hillsdale.
