The Powerball jackpot has reached $750 million for tonight’s drawing, with a cash option of $338.6 million. This marks the 37th consecutive drawing since the jackpot was last won on May 31, when a ticket in California claimed a $204.5 million prize. If someone wins tonight, it will be the largest Powerball jackpot awarded in over a year and the tenth largest in the game’s history.
Michigan previously saw its biggest Powerball win on January 1, 2024, when a lottery club from Mid-Michigan won an $842.4 million jackpot with a ticket purchased in Grand Blanc.
Powerball tickets are available for purchase at retailers statewide until 9:45 p.m., as well as online at MichiganLottery.com. Each play costs $2. Players can add the “Power Play” feature for an extra $1 to multiply non-jackpot prizes up to ten times, with a maximum prize of $2 million. The Double Play option is also available for an additional dollar per play, giving participants another chance to win up to $10 million during the nightly Double Play drawing.
Drawings are held Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m., and can be watched live at http://www.powerball.com. Powerball tickets are sold in 45 states, Washington D.C., U.S. Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
