Dr. Shondra Marshall, a director at the Michigan Public Health Institute (MPHI) and an alumna of Michigan State University (MSU), will hold a book signing event for her new publication, "Leadership Training Guide," on August 28, 2025. The event is scheduled to take place at the MSU Multicultural Center.

The "Leadership Training Guide" is designed as a four-week onboarding resource aimed at individuals transitioning into new teams or roles. The guide highlights the importance of establishing clear expectations and team alignment, encouraging readers to engage in self-reflection. It also emphasizes that successful teams rely on cohesion and the dedication of both leaders and members to strive for their best.

In addition to her leadership role at MPHI, Dr. Marshall volunteers with several boards. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts degrees from Michigan State University and completed her doctoral studies at Eastern Michigan University. In 2024, she received the Clifton R. Wharton Jr. Distinguished Alumni Award from the Michigan State University Black Alumni organization.

"Congratulations to MPHI Director and MSU alum, Dr. Shondra Marshall on the publication of her book, Leadership Training Guide," reads an announcement regarding the upcoming reception.
