Dr. Shondra Marshall, Director at MPHI, has published a new book titled “Leadership Training Guide: The Four-Week Guide on Building Productive and Cohesive Team Members While Equipping Successful Leaders.” This guide is designed as a four-week onboarding tool for individuals transitioning into new roles or teams. It can be applied in various settings, including workplaces and committees.
The book emphasizes the importance of team cohesion and leadership commitment to achieving success and goals. It encourages readers to engage in critical reflection and provides reminders for team alignment. Dr. Marshall draws from her extensive experience in leadership roles to offer insights within the guide.
In addition to her work at MPHI, where she leads public health professionals, Dr. Marshall serves on multiple boards and mentors students and aspiring leaders. Her contributions were recognized with the Clifton R. Wharton Jr. Distinguished Alumni Award by the Michigan State University Black Alumni organization in 2024.
