The National Network of Public Health Initiatives (NNPHI) Conference is set to occur from June 10-12, 2025, in Minneapolis, MN. This year's theme, "Defining Public Health Now and For the Future," aims to unite public health professionals to advance the field. The event will include discussions and presentations on impactful and innovative public health programs, offering participants opportunities to connect and learn from each other.
Dr. Renée Branch Canady, CEO of MPHI, will participate in a discussion with Dr. Lauren Smith, Vice President of Strategic Portfolios at the RWJF, on June 11. Their session will focus on "Systems Transformation: A Blueprint for Public Health Collective Leadership."
Additionally, four MPHI employees—Linda Gordon, Associate Director; Hope Rollins, Director; Judy Spanogle, Business Operations Coordinator; and Nicole Wood, Social Media and Corporate Communications Specialist—will present together at the conference. They will discuss models and outcomes from the MPHI – Equity in Action (EIA) Workshop Series. This series has provided technical assistance for Public Health Infrastructure Grant Region V grantees since its inception in 2021. It has reached 138 organizations and 657 learners across 33 states and Nova Scotia.
