MPHI opens applications for virtual public health program for Lansing students

MPHI has initiated applications for its 2025 virtual MPHI-PHIRE program targeting fifteen high school students from the Lansing School District. This six-week initiative aims to educate students about public health, highlighting both opportunities and challenges, with the goal of encouraging careers in the field.

Eduardo Najarro, Ph.D., a research scientist at MPHI, will lead the program. Sessions will be conducted online every Tuesday from 3:30 PM to 5 PM EST, with specific dates set for June 17, 24, and July 8, 15, 22, 29 in 2025.

MPHI invites applications from students who meet the specific requirements outlined by the organization. Students who successfully complete the program will receive awards to acknowledge their participation.
