Three players from Northern Michigan University's men's basketball team have been honored with College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District accolades. The announcement was made on Tuesday, recognizing Jackson Dudek, Dylan Kuehl, and Sam Privet for their academic and athletic achievements.

Jackson Dudek, a Financial Management major with a 3.72 GPA, played a pivotal role in the Wildcats' success this season. He started in 14 games towards the end of the season, during which the team achieved a 10-4 record. Dudek's performance earned him the GLIAC Tournament MVP title as he averaged 15.7 points per game and shot 67.9% from the field over three games, including scoring a season-high of 19 points against Lake Superior State in the tournament final. Throughout the season, he maintained an average of 8.7 points and 4.4 rebounds per game with a shooting percentage of 53.7%.

Dylan Kuehl, who is pursuing a degree in Construction Management and holds a GPA of 3.50, was named to both the NABC and D2CCA All-Midwest Second Teams. This marks his third consecutive selection to both the All-GLIAC First Team and All-Defensive Team. Kuehl started all 32 games this season and consistently performed well in conference play by being the only player to score double figures in every GLIAC game, averaging 17.6 points across those contests. Overall, he averaged 16.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game while shooting at a rate of 49.7%.

Sam Privet also majors in Construction Management and boasts an impressive GPA of 3.89. Like Kuehl, Privet started all 32 games this past season and contributed significantly to his team's efforts by averaging 9.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game, finishing second on the team in these categories. He scored double figures in fifteen games during the season with a career-high performance of scoring 22 points against Illinois-Springfield on November 16th.

The CSC Academic All-District Men's and Women's Basketball Teams for the academic year recognize top student-athletes across the nation for their dual excellence on court performances as well as their scholastic achievements.
