The NMU women's nordic ski team concluded their participation in the 2025 United States Cross Country Ski National Championship with the 1.4k freestyle sprint event. Victoria Dybwad advanced to the bracket rounds, marking a notable performance.
Dybwad secured her place in the heat finals by finishing among the top 30 with a time of 3:24.73, achieving 25th overall and second among conference skiers. In the quarterfinals, she finished fifth in her bracket with a time of 3:20.34, maintaining her position as second among conference skiers.
Henriette Nillsen narrowly missed qualifying, placing 35th overall and fifth among CCSA skiers with a time of 3:31.54. Jordan Parent and Ella Niznik were eighth and ninth among conference skiers with times of 3:40.58 and 3:45.76, respectively.
Kolibri Drobish and Pearl Harvey did not start (DNS) the race.
Looking ahead, the team will compete at the Ariens Nordic CCSA invite in Brillion, Wisconsin on January 17th and 18th for their first conference race of the season.
