The NMU women's nordic ski team secured the top two positions among conference competitors in the 20k mass start event at the 2025 US Cross Country Ski National Championships held in Anchorage, Alaska. A total of 82 skiers registered for the race, with 66 completing it, while nine did not start and seven did not finish.
Henriette Nilssen and Victoria Dybwad led the Central Collegiate Ski Association (CCSA) racers by finishing first and second respectively. Nilssen completed the race with a time of 1:02:34.3, placing her 15th among U23 skiers and 27th overall. Dybwad finished with a time of 1:04:41.2, ranking her 23rd among U23 skiers and 37th overall.
Jordan Parent also performed well, securing sixth place among conference racers, 28th among U23 skiers, and finishing 46th overall with a time of 1:07:27.1. Kolibri Drobish finished in tenth place among CCSA skiers with a time of 1:10:11.6, while Ella Niznik placed thirteenth among conference racers with a time of 1:13:57.3. Pearl Harvey was marked as DNS.
The athletes will have a rest day before concluding their competition in Anchorage with the upcoming 1.4k freestyle sprint scheduled for Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
