The NMU women's Nordic ski team participated in the 1.4k classic sprint event at the US Cross Country Ski National Championships in Anchorage, Alaska. The competition included a qualification race that determined which athletes would advance to the quarter-final rounds.
Jordan Parent was the fastest skier from NMU, achieving a qualification time of 3:47.47 and narrowly missing the cut-off for advancement by finishing in 32nd place. Other NMU participants included Henriette Nilssen and Victoria Dybwad, who posted times of 3:50.14 and 3:50.83, finishing in 40th and 42nd places respectively. Kolibri Drobish ended in 53rd place, Ella Niznik in 63rd, while Pearl Harvey did not start.

Looking ahead, the NMU team will compete in the 20k mass start classic event scheduled for January 5th.
