The College Sports Communicators (CSC) has announced its Academic All-America honors for the 2024 season, with Brooke Pietila receiving second-team recognition. This achievement marks the first time an athlete from her program has received a CSC Academic All-America award, contributing to the fourth Academic All-American honor in the program's history across all distinctions.
Pietila, who is a sports science major with a cumulative GPA of 3.89, adds this accolade to her previous D2CCA First Team All-American title. Her academic and athletic performance continues to stand out as she lands on the CSC Academic All-America second team.
College Sports Communicators was established in 1957 and serves as a national association for strategic, creative, and digital communicators within intercollegiate athletics in the United States and Canada. The organization adopted its current name following a membership-wide vote on August 31, 2022. Prior to this change, it was known as College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
