Northern Michigan University (NMU) Athletics has a busy schedule ahead from December 12 to December 17, featuring various sports events.
On Thursday, December 12, the Men's and Women's Nordic ski teams will compete in the Gitchi Gami Games with a Freestyle Sprint event.
Friday, December 13, sees the NMU Hockey team traveling to Bowling Green for a game with a puck drop scheduled at 7:07 PM.
Saturday, December 14 is packed with activities. The Nordic ski teams continue their participation in the Gitchi Gami Games with a Classic Sprint. The Men's Basketball team faces Upper Iowa at Wisconsin Dells with a tip-off at 1:10 PM ET. Additionally, the Hockey team plays another match against Bowling Green at 6:07 PM.
Sunday, December 15 includes several events: The Nordic ski teams will take part in the Freestyle Individual 10km at the Gitchi Gami Games. Meanwhile, both Men's and Women's Swim and Dive teams are set to compete in the CSCAA Open Water Collegiate Nationals starting at 8:30 AM and continuing through to 10:00 AM. The Women's Wrestling team will participate in the North Central Open beginning at 9 AM.
The week concludes on Tuesday, December 17 with the Nordic ski teams participating in the Classic Mass Start 20km as part of the ongoing Gitchi Gami Games.
