Northern Michigan University (NMU) Athletics has a busy schedule from November 7 to November 10, featuring a variety of sports events.
On Thursday, November 7, the women's soccer team will face Grand Valley State at 5 PM. The Greco-Roman wrestling team will participate in the Bill Farrell Memorial International, with times to be determined.
Friday, November 8, will see the volleyball team competing against Ferris State at 5 PM and the wrestling team participating in the Alma Duals at the same time. Women's basketball will play against Thomas More in Wisconsin Dells at 6 PM. The hockey team is set to compete against Lake Superior State at 7:07 PM. Men's basketball will also be in Wisconsin Dells facing Maryville at 8 PM. The Greco-Roman wrestling team continues its participation in the Bill Farrell Memorial International.
Saturday, November 9, begins with swim and dive teams competing against Wayne State and Findlay at 10 AM as part of the GLIAC. Women's wrestling will take part in the Adrian Duals starting at 11 AM. The football team is scheduled to play Davenport at noon, while women's soccer takes on Saginaw Valley also at noon. Volleyball faces Davenport again but later in the day at 6 PM.
The hockey match against Lake Superior State continues that evening at 7:07 PM with special offers for military personnel including discounted tickets and complimentary refreshments with a military ID. Men's basketball will face Missouri-St. Louis in Wisconsin Dells at 8 PM. Additionally, NMU's cross country teams are heading to Romeoville, Illinois for the NCAA Midwest Regional Championship. Greco-Roman wrestlers have two events: Finland U20 & U23 and ongoing participation in the Bill Farrell Memorial International.
On Sunday, November 10, women's wrestling competes in the Adrian Invite starting at 11 AM while Greco-Roman wrestlers continue their matches in Finland U20 & U23.
