NMU Athletics announces upcoming events schedule from October 30 to November 3

Northern Michigan University (NMU) Athletics has a busy schedule ahead from October 30 to November 3, featuring various sports events and special activities.

On Wednesday, October 30, the NMU volleyball team will face Michigan Tech at 6 PM. Tickets are available for this match.

Friday, November 1, brings a packed day of sports. The women's soccer team will play against Parkside at 3 PM, while the men's soccer team competes at Purdue Northwest, also at 3 PM. The volleyball team will take on Purdue Northwest at 4 PM in a game promoting Green Athletics' 'Zero Waste' initiative. At 7:07 PM, the hockey team will face off against Michigan Tech as part of Everything College Hockey's 'Rivalry Series.' A Blue Line Luncheon is scheduled earlier that day with doors opening at 11:45 AM at Slabz Bar and Grill. Fans can also participate in the 'Green Carpet Walk' from 4:45 to 5:00 PM to welcome players entering the arena.

Saturday, November 2, sees the women's wrestling team competing in the Simpson College Luther Hill Invite starting at 9 AM. The football team will host Ferris State at 1 PM with special events including Senior Day and Military Day. Active military and veterans can attend for free and receive complimentary popcorn and pop with ID. Volleyball plays Parkside again at 4 PM with similar discounts for military personnel.

The hockey team travels to Michigan Tech for another match-up on Saturday evening at 6:07 PM.

On Sunday, November 3, men's soccer visits Parkside for a game starting at 2:30 PM ET. Meanwhile, women's basketball hosts Wisconsin-Stevens Point in an exhibition game beginning at 4 PM with free entry. This event includes Lisa Jamula Jersey Retirement Night.
