Crystal Walker from the Northern Michigan Track & Field team is set to compete in the 100m hurdles at the NCAA Championships. The event will be held this weekend at Francis G. Welch Stadium in Emporia, Kansas, marking the final event of the 2023-24 athletic season.
The preliminary heats are scheduled for Friday, March 24, at 7:50 p.m. Walker will run in lane 3 of the first heat. Each heat winner and the next five fastest times will advance to Saturday's final on May 25 at 3:55 p.m. ET.

Walker enters the competition with a time of 13.84 seconds in the 100m hurdles, recorded at the GLIAC Championships on May 1, where she finished second. Throughout this season, she has also secured three victories in long jump events.
Walker has recently been recognized with All-Region honors by the USTFCCCA.
