Crystal Walker finishes track season at NCAA Championships

Northern Michigan University junior Crystal Walker concluded her track and field season at the NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships. Competing in the 100m hurdles, Walker recorded a time of 14.07 seconds during the preliminary round on Friday night.

Walker ran in lane 3 in the first of three heats, securing sixth place out of seven runners in her heat. Her performance ranked as the 15th fastest among a total of 18 competitors.

The competition format divided the athletes into three heats, with each heat winner and the next five fastest times progressing to Saturday's final race.
