Eight student-athletes from Northern Michigan University's women's lacrosse team have been recognized with All-GLIAC awards. Among them, four players were named to the First Team All-GLIAC.

Minnie Bittell, Josie Lakosky, Kaitlyn Bridger, and Dayna Carlson received First-Team honors. Maddi Bast and Natalie Thomas were placed on the Second-Team, while Lauren Esposito and Olivia Rose earned honorable mentions.

Head coach Lindsey Majkrzak commented on the achievements: "So much of the success we achieved this season came from the willpower of the athletes who are being honored this year with All-GLIAC awards. They set a standard for the way we wanted to act, play, and be. I'm so proud of each of them for how they stepped up in their individual position and brought the team with them with every step."

In her senior year, Minnie Bittell added another accolade to her record by earning her fourth-consecutive First Team All-GLIAC honor. She led in overall goals (67), assists (31), and points (98) during the regular season. Freshman Josie Lakosky was named GLIAC Freshman of the Year after finishing fourth in goals (40) and points (52).

Senior midfielder Kaitlyn Bridger secured a back-to-back First Team selection following a successful season where she ranked second in assists (12) among her team members. Defender Dayna Carlson advanced from an Honorable Mention last year to a First Team selection this year.

On the Second Team, third-year defender Maddi Bast maintained consistency in her new role as a defender. Freshman Natalie Thomas also made significant contributions on defense.

Lauren Esposito was noted for her performance as a freshman goalkeeper, allowing only 137 goals against while making 114 saves. Olivia Rose continued to demonstrate reliability as a midfielder throughout her third season.

The full list of honorees is available through NMU's official release.
