The Northern Michigan University men's soccer team has announced its 2024 schedule, featuring eight home games and a challenging lineup. Head Coach Alex Fatovic expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming season, stating, "What an exciting, yet extremely challenging schedule for fall 2024." This will be Fatovic's third season with the team.

Joining the coaching staff this year is Chance Vang, who will begin his first season on the sidelines for NMU. Fatovic added, "We start and end on the road, welcome a final 4 team to NMU and begin and wrap up Gliac play against both champions from 2023."

Before the regular season begins, the Wildcats have scheduled scrimmages at Madonna and UW Superior on August 23 and 26. The official season opener is set for September 5 against Northwood, followed by another away game at Quincy on September 8.

The team's home opener will take place against Lewis University on September 12. Lewis reached the final four in last year's NCAA Tournament. Following that match, Thomas More will visit Marquette on September 14.

The Green and Gold will commence their GLIAC matches with an away game at St. Cloud State on September 21. They then return home for a series of four consecutive games against Purdue Northwest, Parkside, St. Cloud State again, and Roosevelt from late September into early October.

The Wildcats' final stretch includes two road trips to face Davenport and Saginaw before returning home for matches against Cardinals and Panthers. They conclude their regular season with three more road games: Roosevelt in Chicago on October 27 and then Purdue Northwest and Parkside on November 1 and 3.
