The Northern Michigan University (NMU) men's soccer team is preparing for its final spring exhibition match, scheduled to take place at home against Wisconsin Superior. The Wildcats will face the Yellowjackets in the Superior Dome on Sunday, April 7, at 4 PM. The event is open to the public with free admission.

Head coach Alex Fatovic commented on the team's approach, stating, "We have implemented an energetic and electrifying style of play to combine with our possession principles which has made this program exciting to watch. We are piecing together our identity and establishing a strong culture as we aim to finish the remainder of our spring season strong before shifting focus to the fall season."

So far this spring, NMU has played two matches and remains undefeated with a record of 2-0. They have scored a total of 10 goals while conceding only one.

In their previous encounter at the start of the 2023 season in Superior, Wisconsin, NMU secured a win against Wisconsin Superior. The Yellowjackets had a successful run last year in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC), finishing with an overall record of 17-4-2 and a conference record of 13-1. They claimed their seventh consecutive UMAC Title.
