The Northern Michigan University men's soccer team concluded its regular season with a 2-2 draw against St. Cloud State Huskies on Sunday, October 22, in Marquette, Michigan. The match marked the Wildcats' Senior Day and saw all goals scored in the second half.

St. Cloud State opened the scoring in the 54th minute. However, NMU's Casey Miller responded with an impressive goal to equalize. Finn van den Berg then put NMU ahead with his first career goal in the 85th minute, but St. Cloud State quickly leveled again two minutes later.

NMU head coach Alex Fatovic commented on the performance: "Overall great performance today, but disappointing result after fighting back to take a deserved lead in the last few minutes. We had 70% possession and 22 shots, and somehow end up with a draw at home. It's simply not good enough in front of goal."

Despite dominating possession and outshooting their opponents significantly, NMU could not secure a win. The Wildcats now hold a record of 2-9-4 overall and are preparing for the GLIAC playoff quarterfinals scheduled for either October 28 or October 29.

Casey Miller and Finn van den Berg both scored their first career goals during this match. Senior goalkeeper Jackson Bowers made two saves throughout the game.
