The Wildcats are set to compete in the Roy Griak Invite, a significant collegiate cross country event hosted by the University of Minnesota. The competition is scheduled for Friday, September 22, with the women's 6K race taking place at Les Bolstad Golf Course in St. Paul at 1:15 p.m. ET.

This follows their recent participation in the Spartan Invite hosted by Michigan State. In that event, Madi Szymanski achieved a notable performance by finishing 28th overall with a time of 22:23.2, setting a new personal record and ranking as the top Division II runner outside of six Grand Valley competitors.

Freshman Ava Maginity also made an impressive showing with a top-50 finish, clocking in at 23:18.0 for the 6K, marking her as the 13th-best among Division II runners.

Additionally, seven other Wildcats secured positions within the top-100. Emma Moore and Dani VanLente placed closely together at 75th and 76th with times of 23:55.3 and 23:56.1 respectively.
