Sports teams achieve notable performances across various events

The men's golf team competed in the GLIAC Championships over the weekend, finishing eighth with a total score of +39 (607). The team excelled in par 5 scoring and birdies, ranking second and fourth respectively. Russel Sprecher led the team with rounds of 73 and 75, finishing tied for 17th place. He achieved the second most pars on the field during the weekend. Arthur Ylitalo also performed well, shooting rounds of 79 and 71 to finish tied for 23rd.

In lacrosse, a decisive victory was achieved against Concordia-St. Paul with a final score of 21-12 on senior day. Prior to the game, seniors Minni Bittell, Kaitlyn Bridger, Clara Johnson, Jane Taylor, and Brigid Fornek were recognized. Minnie Bittell matched her career-high points with nine and set a new personal best in ground balls with six. Josie Lakosky set career highs in goals and points during this match.

On another front, track and field saw Skylar Grubb secure her second consecutive win at the Beach Invitational by claiming first place in the 10000m race with a time of 36:59.48. Madi Szymanski also contributed to their success by winning the 5000m event with a personal record time that met NCAA provisional standards.
