The Northern Michigan University women's golf team is preparing to participate in the Panther Invitational. The event, hosted by Davenport, will take place in Augusta, Michigan, on October 12-13 at the Stonehedge North golf club. This competition serves as the final meet of the team's fall season and offers a preview for the upcoming GLIAC championship.

In last year's Panther Invitational, the Wildcats secured an 8th-place finish. Hailey Bolander led the team with rounds of 79 and 78, earning her a T15 position.

The tournament venue, Stonehedge North, is recognized for its picturesque scenery and challenging course layout. The 18-hole course has a par of 72 and extends over 6,127 yards. With a course rating of 74.2, it presents various terrains and strategically placed hazards that players must navigate to achieve optimal scores.
