A trio of Northern Michigan University (NMU) athletes has been recognized as GLIAC Swimmers and Divers of the Week. The announcement highlights the achievements of Carlotta Santi, Kalina Ceglinski, and Tobie Stiles from both the men's and women's swim and dive teams.

Santi contributed significantly to the Wildcats' victories over St. Cloud during the weekend. On Friday, in a 148-90 win, she placed second in the 200 free, fourth in the 100 free, and was part of the 200 free relay team that achieved the second-fastest event time. On Saturday, she improved her 200 free time by nearly three seconds from Friday's performance, finishing first with a time of 1:55.22. She excelled in the 500 free with a time of 5:09.14, winning by a margin of 12 seconds before concluding with a first-place finish in the 400 free relay team.

Ceglinski had an outstanding performance over the weekend, securing first place in all four events and earning an NCAA Provisional Qualifying Score on Saturday. On Friday, she led both diving events with scores of 241.20 in the 1-meter diving and 236.25 in the 3-meter diving. Her dominance continued on Saturday as she scored 254.80 points in the 3-meter diving, surpassing her closest competitor by 19 points. She concluded her weekend with an NCAA Provisional Qualifying Score of 262.65, creating a gap of 31 points between herself and second place.

Stiles began his season strongly with a second-place finish in the 1-meter diving and fourth place in the 3-meter diving on Friday. He enhanced his performance on Saturday by achieving an NCAA cut and first place in the 3-meter diving with a score of 312.15, leading second place by an impressive margin of 56 points. Stiles ended his meet by posting another first-place score of 278.75, exceeding second place by 47 points.
