The Northern Michigan University (NMU) men's swim and dive team faced a challenging meet against St. Cloud State, concluding with a 99-123 defeat despite winning the final four events of the evening.

Gabriel Fulconi was a standout performer, securing victories in all three of his events. He claimed first place in the 200 IM and the 500 freestyle before anchoring the 400 free relay team to victory. Tobie Stiles also excelled, taking first place in both the 3-meter and 1-meter diving competitions.

Jef Leroux contributed two first-place finishes, winning the 100 freestyle and leading off for the victorious 400 free relay team. He also took second as part of the 400 medley relay team. Wyatt Dickman had strong performances throughout, earning silver in consecutive events before finishing first in the 200 breaststroke.

William LaCount and Ale Rosatelli completed the winning lineup for the 400 free relay. LaCount additionally secured second place finishes in both the 50 freestyle and as part of the 400 medley relay team.

The event began with NMU's Ian Rocheleau, Wyatt Dickman, Jef Leroux, and William LaCount placing second in the 400 medley relay with a time of 3:26.39. In individual events, notable performances included Dickman's second-place finish in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:42.80, just ahead of third place by three seconds.

Fulconi recorded NMU's first win of the night in Event 8 by finishing first in the 200 IM with a time of 1:54.56. His performance was followed by Stiles' dominant win in Event 10 during which he scored gold with a total of 312.15 points on his dives from three meters.

In other results, Javier Pena Reyes and Daniel Khmara reached podium positions for NMU by finishing second and third respectively in Event12's butterfly race.

The Wildcats concluded their competition on a high note when Leroux, LaCount, Rosatelli, and Fulconi teamed up to clinch victory for NMU’s final event—their successful effort timed at an impressive pace led them to claim top spot within this relay category during this particular swimming meet finale session here today against rival school opponents hailing out from nearby locales nearby regions
