The NMU men's golf team has released its 2024 fall schedule, which includes four road trips from September to October.

The Wildcats will begin the season in Saginaw, Michigan, participating in the Al Watrous Invitational hosted by SVSU. The event, held at the Sawmill Golf Club from September 7-8, marks their first appearance since the 2021 fall season when they placed sixth out of 15 teams.

In late September, the team will travel to Dearborn, Michigan, for the WSU Motor City Shakedown at TPC Michigan from September 30 to October 1. Their last participation in this event was during the 2018-19 season, where they finished eighth out of 15 teams and achieved two top-10 individual performances.

Next on the schedule is a trip to Lemont, Illinois, for the Lewis Flyer Intercollegiate at Cog Hill and Country Club from October 7-8. Last season, NMU finished sixth out of 12 teams and secured an individual top-10 finish at this event.

The fall season concludes in Augusta, Michigan, with the Davenport Panther Invitational at Bedford Valley GC from October 12-13. Although this year's competition will be held at a different course, NMU had significant success last year by winning first place and setting new records for both 18-hole and 36-hole scores. Russel Sprecher notably broke the 18-hole record with a bogey-free round of 62.
