BAKER COLLEGE CENTER FOR GRADUATE STUDIES: BC Early/Middle College Student Wins JAMA Student of the Year

Baker College Center for Graduates Studies issued the following announcement.

Baker College Early/Middle College student Graham Macomber has been named the Jackson Area Manufacturers Association (JAMA) 2019 Student of the Year at its 83rd Annual Meeting at the Country Club of Jackson on January 13th.

Macomber is a participant in the Jackson Area College and Career Connection (JAC3) Early/Middle College program, which combines a high school diploma, a college degree, Career Center manufacturing courses, and a U.S. Department of Labor apprenticeship.

Macomber will be receiving his Baker College associate degree in mechanical engineering along with his high school diploma in 2020 and plans to pursue a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering at Baker College upon graduation of the program.
