Karen Whitsett's campaign pays $572 to AT&T

The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Karen Whitsett, the Committee to Elect Karen Whitsett for State Representation, paid $572 to AT&T on May 7.

According to quarterly campaign statements filed with Michigan’s Secretary of State, the following reason was given for the expenditure: 'phone bill'.

The committee has spent about $5,283 total since the beginning of the year, 57.5 percent of which has gone to AT&T.
