The campaign committee of Democratic Party candidate Dayne Allen Walling, Friends of Dayne Walling, paid $100 to American Express on June 5.

According to quarterly campaign statements filed with Michigan’s Secretary of State, the following reason was given for the expenditure: 'credit card payment debt'.

The committee has spent about $4,111 total since the beginning of the year, 33.9 percent of which has gone to American Express.
