State Bar of Michigan to host virtual Lawyer Trust Account Webinar

The State Bar of Michigan announced on Apr. 14 that it will hold a half-day virtual seminar focused on the ethical management of lawyer trust accounts for Michigan attorneys on Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

The event is designed to help legal professionals understand property processing, record keeping requirements, and their responsibilities under MRPC 1.15 and 1.15A. The webinar runs from 9 a.m. to noon and costs $25 to attend.

According to the announcement, the session is open not only to members of the State Bar of Michigan but also their legal staff, law students, unlicensed graduates, and other legal professionals. Registration and payment must be completed by Friday, June 19 at 5 p.m., with all materials sent by email about one week before the seminar date.

The State Bar will offer another Lawyer Trust Accounts virtual seminar later in the year on Tuesday, Oct. 27, providing an additional opportunity for those who cannot attend in June.
