The Lenawee County Department on Aging announced on April 28 that it is promoting an upcoming community event, DJ Bingo: Walk to End Alzheimer’s Kickoff Event, scheduled for May 7 from 6 to 8 PM at the Adrian Eagles located at 2522 W Beecher Road in Adrian.

The event aims to raise awareness and support for individuals and families affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. Organizers say the evening will feature several rounds of DJ Bingo, prizes, as well as complimentary food and drinks. Attendees are encouraged to bring friends and participate in a lively atmosphere while supporting efforts to end Alzheimer’s disease.

According to the announcement, guests are invited to “glow up,” enjoy music, and join others from the community in this initiative. The Lenawee County Department on Aging highlights that events like this offer opportunities for people who are directly impacted by dementia or those who wish to support loved ones or a meaningful cause.

The department encourages caregivers, families, friends, and all community members interested in learning more about supporting the Walk to End Alzheimer’s to attend. No additional background information was provided regarding previous events or further activities planned beyond this kickoff.

Organizers hope that this event will help strengthen local engagement with the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
