DTE Energy crews will conduct overhead utility work on Interstate 94 between the Wadhams Road interchange and the I-94 Business Loop (Gratiot Avenue) interchange in St. Clair County near Marysville, requiring a full closure and detour of I-94 for two hours, according to an April 9 announcement.
The closure is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 12. Traffic will be detoured at Wadhams Road Exit 262 and Gratiot Avenue Exit 266, with the posted route using Wadhams Road and Gratiot Avenue. The Michigan Department of Transportation said that closing the interstate during this type of overhead utility work is necessary to keep motorists and workers safe.
