The request was made under the Michigan Freedom of Information Act § 15.231 et seq., and it seeks access to records of all payments made to vendors from January 1, 2024, till September 26, 2024.

The specific fields requested in the FOIA include the vendor name, transaction date, transaction description, and amount. This information is crucial for our ongoing reporting efforts aimed at holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
