FOIA Request to Lapeer County Regarding Vendor Payments from January 1, 2024, till September 26, 2024.
As part of our ongoing efforts to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Great Lakes Wire have sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to Lapeer County in Michigan. The request was made on September 26, 2024.
In our pursuit of transparency and accountability in public institutions, we requested a list of all payments made to vendors within the specified period. We believe that access to these records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities.
The details requested include the vendor name, transaction date, transaction description, and the amount involved in each transaction. We have asked for this information preferably in an electronic format for ease of analysis and reporting.
