FOIA Request to Antrim County Regarding Vendor Payments on September 26, 2024.

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Great Lakes Wire have submitted a request for records under the Michigan Freedom of Information Act § 15.231 et seq.

The request, sent on September 26, 2024, seeks a list of all payments made to vendors by Antrim County from January 1, 2024 till September 26, 2024. The requested details include the vendor name, transaction date, transaction description, and the amount paid.

As a media organization, we are deeply involved in gathering and reporting news to the public. Access to such public records is essential for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities. These include holding public institutions accountable and providing transparency to the public.
