East Lansing Prime Time Senior Programs announces rummage and bake sale for May 14-15

East Lansing Prime Time Senior Programs announced on Apr. 30 that it will hold a rummage and bake sale on Thursday, May 14, and Friday, May 15.

The event is scheduled to take place from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. both days at the East Lansing Hannah Community Center West Gym located at 819 Abbot Road.

Organizers are requesting donations of baked goods and gently used items for the sale. Donations can be dropped off between 8:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, and 8:30 a.m. Friday, May 15, at the gym entrance on Forest Street behind the community center. Signs will be posted to guide donors to the correct location. Items should be in working and usable condition; large appliances, mattresses, pianos, entertainment centers, baby furniture or medical equipment will not be accepted. No items will be accepted before May 13.

Volunteers are also needed on May 13 to assist with collecting items and setting up for the event as well as during the sale itself on Thursday and Friday.
